On the Fenceline: A Fight for Clean Air (2020)

This short documentary follows Philly Thrive, an organization of frontline residents and environmental activists, that fights to keep an oil refinery in South Philadelphia closed.

My team created this film with the hope that it will serve as an organizing tool for activists, environmental and sociopolitical educators, and those needing hope and inspiration in uncertain times.

So far, this project has being screened at DC Environmental Film Festival, Nashville Film Festival, Planet in Focus Environmental Film Festival, Colorado Environmental Film Festival, American Documentary and Animation Film Festival, Better Cities Film Festival, Philadelphia Film Festival, SCAD Savannah Film Festival, Newark International Film Festival and Visions 10 Film Festival and Conference where it was awarded Best Documentary. It was also broadcast on PBS.
